
Dr. Al-Tariq Moore is the faculty advisor for the James Baldwin Society of NCCU. He is an alum of NCCU who received his doctoral degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Moore is a specialist in 20th Century African American Literature with a minor concentration in Gender & Sexuality Studies. His research and scholarship investigates notions of Horror and “homelessness” in relation to Black queer sexuality and belonging.

Will Diggs is a poet-historian raised in PG County, Maryland. As an Interdisciplinary Studies student at NCCU, he studies history and English, with a focus on diasporic culture and free verse poetry.
